Rob Robillard has worked on many projects for us over the past several years, handling everything from extensive exterior rot repair, which included fabricating intricate trim boards, to installing a cedar closet, and best of all, researching, designing and building an incredible wine cellar this past fall. From start to finish, Rob is honest, reliable, creative and fun to work with. We would not call on anyone else for carpentry work in our Concord home!

Thanks for the great work on my bedroom and study and the installation of a new bathroom in my home. The work was completed on time and to all my specs. Your workers were respectful of the larger property and always left things in clean and neat order. Good work, well done, on time!

Rob is honest, frank, and precise in his communications, and works on behalf of the homeowner. He has deep knowledge of building code and informs the client when aspects of the job may put the client in jeopardy. He is flexible to the client’s needs and will find alternate solutions to meet the needs at hand. He listens carefully to the homeowner and provides appropriate advice and on-demand carpentry as required to meet overall schedules. Rob is a very dependable, high-quality craftsman, and you can see this in the smallest detail: drip edges and special cut-outs. These are aspects that are missing from the bulk construction organizations. If you want a high-quality refurbishment, with solid structural capability according to local code, you can do no better than Rob Robillard. If you are like many of us homeowners, who have a specific issue that needs resolution, then Rob is able to think ‘Out of the Box’ and meet your needs.

We have worked with Rob for many years on carpentry jobs for our Victorian house in Concord: bathroom remodeling, roof work, big or small projects. He is reliable, skilled, cheerful, meticulous, cost-effective. I am happy to recommend him.

We chose Rob to do the carpentry for the renovation of our living/family room, the centerpiece of our house. The work was complex. It involved changing windows as well as removing and installing a variety of built-in storage areas (window benches, audio-visual cabinetry, and a full wall of high-quality shelving for a large collection of books). The constraints imposed by the existing room were significant. The job necessitated considerable skill, creativity, communication, and flexibility to get what we wanted. Rob delivered all these things, and a great finished product on a timely basis. I have recommended Rob to family members and I would do so again!

Your reconstructive work and rebuilding of the Cupola on the roof of my building in the Historic District of Concord were exceptional.

Your work came highly recommended to me and I relied on that recommendation in selecting you. You showed true attention to detail and followed through with other necessary work in making sure the roof was prepared for the finished cupola to prevent any leaks. I would not hesitate to use your services for any of my needs in the future whether exterior or interior. And the fact that you were one of the professionals who donated services to “Extreme Makeover” for the project in Massachusetts is a glowing recommendation by itself.

Rob was a pleasure to work with. His ideas on how to install decorative moldings on a challenging curved wall proved both beautiful and cost-efficient. The finish carpentry was top quality. Rob was also reliable, easy-going, and flexible about working the most high-traffic part of our home. Rob Robillard and his colleagues did an excellent job of repairing and updating a roof-top deck behind our house. Rob is a great communicator, so we always knew when he would arrive, how far along he was with the work, and how much longer it would take.

We have been working with Rob since around 2015. At our first meeting, we thought, “We have finally found our contractor!” Rob and his crew have renovated our kitchen, resided the house, and are about to embark on a major bathroom renovation, and he’s helped us with numerous smaller projects along the way. Besides Rob being a really nice person, he is responsive, sticks to his timeline, and does impeccable work. He is honest and is able to communicate the scope of work in a way that always lets us know what to expect. A Concord Carpenter has made some incredible upgrades to our home. The team transformed our bland 2-story entry hall into an elegant and inviting showpiece of our home, adding paneling that was carefully planned and flawlessly executed. We were so happy with the work that we had the guys back to build out our fireplace surround and add paneling to our dining room. We are looking forward to having them back again in the future to give our home another uplift.

Rob and his crew are great people who we enjoyed having in our home. They are highly skilled at what they do, and always clean and careful. We work from home and had virtually no disruptions in our life with the guys here.

Rob Robillard has all the qualities one needs in a builder/contractor and carpenter. We merged three generations of our family several years ago and Rob built a perfect addition to an existing house. It was a complicated project and Rob’s skills, both as a builder and a manager, were essential. He is an incredibly talented craftsman, as well as being competent with all the latest technologies used in construction. Rob is efficient, trustworthy, creative and meticulous with his work; exceptional across the board.
